Neighbors

There are so many people in the Earth that they live very close to each other. Population density is very high. That is why we all have neighbors. People who live without neighbors are either foresters or hermits. Thus we are doomed to have neighbors. This is a very good luck when you have good neighbors. Not very many people are so lucky. The generalized image of neighbors is very negative. Neighbors usually quarrel with each other, find fault with each other for mess and untidiness. Neighbors rarely become friends. It means that people in general are unfriendly and rude to each other. At first, when people get acquainted with each other, everything is ok, but later things change radically. Friendly relations change into a fight and so on. It is so very understandable, because it is often very difficult to find mutual understanding with your relatives to say nothing getting along with your neighbors. There is a stereotype in our society that neighbors should be enemies. I think that this stereotype in most cases determines relationships with neighbors in reality. Besides, people are egoistic and egocentric by nature and never want to compromise. The art of compromise is available to a handful of people. Those who master this art are the luckiest people in the world as they have an opportunity to live their lives without quarrels and having it out. We must learn to find mutual understanding with each other and respect each other. Only thus we will reach harmony in our relations. We must realize that we suffer from our inability to find mutual understanding at first.
